Hide Skin Sun Spots - Easy Ways To Conceal Sun Spots On Skin
Hyperpigmentation, also known as sun spots on skin, is basically the result of your pigment-manufacturing cells being shoved into a hard level of activity by external factors such as sun exposure or internal factor such as the hormonal changes in your body. Morevoer, any variety of hyperpigmentation is aggravated substantially by sun exposure. Whether your sun spots on your skin are disseminated or concentrated, hyperpigmentation is more easily controlled than removed. Sometimes, the best answer to this condition is to hide sun spots on skin by blending and lightening.
Melanin is the source of your skin’s color. Some people come to this world with extra melanin cells than other people and as a result, have a greater occurrence of problematic pigmentation. The more melanin cells you have, the more pigmentation you will encounter. Exposure to the sun, heat, wounds and hormonal shifts contribute to the production of melanin. Skin discoloration may not be evident immediately since melanin cells creeps their way very gradually to the surface of the skin. The tan that many sun worshippers get in baking their bodies is actually the body’s way of protecting their skin to cell damage. Eventually, too much exposure to the sun can bring about mottled appearance and dark spots.
Fortunately, make-up can effectively hide sun spots on skin. As a matter of fact, cosmetics can remove a good deal of awkwardness you feel after undergoing a facial surgery by concealing post-operation bruising, swelling and scars. They also help in covering up non-surgical-associated disorders such as acne scars and vitiligo. There are two ways cosmetics do their job. First, by employing color theory which lessens the appearance of scars and other blemishes, and second, by completely hiding the disorder with the application of camouflage make-up.
Color theory works around the notion that you can soften one color by masking it with its opposite color. The shades in special cosmetics can neutralize the color of skin blemishes. For instance, if there’s a scar on your skin that has a reddish tinge, a green concealer can reduce its appearance. For blue or purple bruising, a yellow concealer can be used to hide its look. Producing highlights and silhouettes through darker and lighter colors can also aid in reducing the appearance of a certain defect. A darker make-up can create an illusion of a reduced flaw. A lighter shade can considerably lessen the look of a dent.
Foundation can hide sun spots on skin by smoothing and flattening the texture and tone of your skin. You should choose a foundation that complements well with your skin complexion. If you have an oily skin, an oil-free foundation is better suited for your skin while an oil-based foundation works well for people with dry skin. A water-based foundation is good for all types of skin while a water-free foundation is specially created to be impervious and exceptionally long-lasting.
Correcting skin flaws with a foundation should be done in moderation and with the right techniques. Carefully consider your skin tone. You should dab and blend your foundation rather than smearing it on your face with a sponge. Dab small amounts of foundation along the areas before blending it with your fingers in circular movements. Applying make-up to hide skin problems needs a lot of practice and familiarization of your skin. Be patient and soak up the best advice. Soon, you’ll be able to formulate your own technique that works best for you.

For pigmented lesions such as sunspots and age spots due to sun damaged skin and other factors, results become apparent a few days after the first treatment. For darker and well-defined spots in which the melanin is close to the surface, 1-3 treatments are typically all that is needed. With treatment, these spots often turn slightly darker and grayish, after which they become crusty and simply flake off in 3-7 days leaving perfectly virgin skin underneath.

skin type. if you have skin prone to freckling because you come from a naturally very light heritage or inherited that then you will get these when in the sun.
in my family, for instance, my cousin and i have freckle/mole prone skin as my mother and my grandmother do. however all the boys in our family get darker skin and dont freckle so easily so they develop tans better.

Keep an eye on that spot. If it keeps changing or seems suspicious do not be afraid to let your MD know.
I use a regime by Arbonne and one of the products has helped with sun spots for me - it has Alpha and Beta Hydroxy
acids to help reduce the color. It's not an over night sensation but over 6 months I have much healthier skin. (so look for that in a product) or I suggest the nutrimin c regime
